The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Cyber Police warn against offers to obtain a driver's license without training. Practical training at a driving school is mandatory for exams.

The Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Cyber Police urge citizens not to trust promises to "simplify the procedure" for obtaining a driver's license for money. This is reported by UNN with reference to a statement by the National Police.

Details

It is noted that completing practical training online or without attending a driving school at all is impossible.

Practical training at an accredited driving school is mandatory. Only after a full course of study and an internal exam is a candidate admitted to the exam at the service center. Information about the training is verified through the Unified State Register of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

- the statement reads.

It is pointed out that offers of "remote practice," "admission without training," or "access to state registers" are scams.

"This can lead to the loss of money, personal data, and other risks," the National Police warns.

Recall

The Cabinet of Ministers registered a bill in the Verkhovna Rada that provides for updating the rules in the field of vehicle registration and the issuance of driver's licenses in accordance with EU standards. In particular, access to driving categories will depend on the driver's age and experience, and vehicle registration and license issuance will become available through local authorities.
