Slovak Deputy Prime Minister Peter Kmec arrived in Zakarpattia region for a bilateral meeting with Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko to discuss prospects for cooperation, strategic cross-border projects and preparations for the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Slovak Commission, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Viktor Mykyta said on Thursday, UNN reports.

"Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Peter Kmec has arrived in Zakarpattia region," Mykyta wrote on Telegram.
According to him, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko is also paying a working visit to Zakarpattia region today.
"We are starting a bilateral meeting of the Deputy Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Slovakia in an expanded format," Mykyta said.
The agenda, he said, includes prospects for cooperation, strategic cross-border projects between our countries, and preparations for the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Slovak Commission.
