Denmark plans to build eco-houses for the psychological recovery of children without parental care in three towns in Ukraine. This was announced by the Ministry of Economy at the presentation of the humanitarian project "Spaces for Children's Life" in Copenhagen, UNN reports.

Denmark will build psychological recovery camps for children deprived of parental care in Ukraine. The towns will be built in three pilot Ukrainian cities. They will be integrated into the communities of the selected cities. Negotiations are currently underway between the Danish side and local authorities of the selected communities.

Today, support for Ukrainian children suffering from the war is extremely important. More than 27 thousand children live in institutions and need a family and a new home. So we are sincerely grateful to Denmark for this important humanitarian project. It also has an economic component. All these houses will be built using Ukrainian-made construction materials. Therefore, Ukrainian companies will be actively involved in the project. Thus, Denmark will also support our manufacturers

- Yulia Svyrydenko, First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy, said during the event.

The Spaces for Children project aims to provide comprehensive services to children, including psychosocial support. The project plans to create social and recreational areas that can be used not only by the residents of the complex but also by other community members. It also provides for the construction of bomb shelters. All facilities will be transferred to the ownership of local communities upon completion. The project is expected to be completed within 4 years.

One of the key features of the Spaces for Children project is its environmental friendliness. The project concept includes the construction of residential facilities that significantly reduce CO2 emissions. The housing is designed according to principles that ensure its health, adaptability, simplicity, modernity, and scalability.
