Military personnel aged 18-25 who have signed a one-year contract with the Defense Forces and have been discharged after its completion are guaranteed a deferment from conscription. The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the mechanism for its formalization. This was announced by Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, as reported by UNN.

Fedorov noted that the Ministry of Defense team, together with the Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence, finalized the relevant resolution — the norm has been fully implemented.
