Details
The second leg of the third qualifying round of the Conference League will kick off at 19:00 Kyiv time at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
The first leg, held a week ago, ended in a narrow 1–0 victory for the Kyiv side. The only goal of the match was scored by Matvii Ponomarenko after a mistake by Qarabağ's defense.
"Dynamo" played a Ukrainian Premier League match over the weekend, securing a narrow 2–1 victory over Rivne's "Veres", after which the "white-and-blues" headed to Baku.
Meanwhile, the Azerbaijani league has not yet begun, so "Qarabağ" had more time to recover and prepare for the match.
According to the Kyiv club's press service, Ihor Kostiuk will count on the following players in the second leg against "Qarabağ", who traveled to Baku:
- goalkeepers – Manko, Olkhovyi, Surkis;
- defenders – Bilovar, Dubinchak, Kedziora, Malysh, Mykhavko, Sych, Tymchyk, Tiare;
- midfielders – Brazhko, Buyalskyi, Kabayev, Lonwijk, Lusin, Mykhailenko, Ogundana, Redushko, Rubchynskyi, Shaparenko, Yarmolenko;
- forwards – Guerrero, Mungenge, Ponomarenko.
Three key players remained in Kyiv and continue to recover from injuries: Ruslan Nescheret, Nazar Voloshyn and Oleksandr Pikhalionok.
Where to watch, favorite
Bookmakers consider the Azerbaijani team the favorite. Its victory is priced at odds of 1.86. A draw is 3.75, while a "Dynamo" victory is priced at 3.8.
The match can be watched live online on the 2+2 television channel and the Kyivstar TV platform.
In the final qualifying round, the winner of the tie will face the winner of the "Twente"–"DAC 1904" tie, whose teams will also play their match on Thursday, August 13, at 20:00.
The first match between the teams ended in a resounding 6–0 victory for the Dutch side.
