President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine has already sent its pilots for training on Swedish Gripen aircraft, and therefore expects that the first fighters with Ukrainian pilots could appear in Ukraine as early as December-January.
Subsequently, Deputy Head of the Office of the President Pavlo Palisa added that Ukraine will receive the first batch of Swedish JAS 39 Gripen fighters equipped with long-range Meteor air-to-air missiles.
