Information from the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service regarding Ukraine's alleged preparation of strikes against the Russian Federation from the territory of Latvia is untrue. This was stated by the Center for Countering Disinformation, according to UNN.
Details
The CCD emphasized that the Russian side is spreading fakes about the alleged involvement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces in attacks from Latvian territory.
Such statements by the Russian Federation are a form of blatant blackmail and pressure on Ukraine's partners
Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže officially refuted these accusations. She called the statement by the Russian SVR a "disinformation campaign" and emphasized that Latvia does not provide its airspace for attacks on Russia.
Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs also refuted Russia's statements
The Center for Countering Disinformation reported that Moscow's statements were also refuted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The MFA emphasized that Ukraine "does not use the territory or airspace of Latvia in its operations against Russia and has no intention of doing so."

Naryshkin and his Russian SVR are well-known liars, and old and not very smart ones at that. They were caught red-handed in their time with cable sabotage, as well as other provocations in the EU. Now they are lying about how Russia could be "attacked from the territory of Latvia." These are ordinary scare tactics aimed at the Baltic states. But Naryshkin is a primitive, old senile man. No one even planned to attack the Russian Federation from the territory of Latvia. Neither Latvia, nor anyone else
The CCD pointed out that the Russian accusations were accompanied by threats to strike "decision-making centers" on the territory of Latvia. The Center considers this an attempt at escalation and a justification for possible hybrid provocations by the Russian Federation against the Baltic states.
