The son of Elizabeth II, Prince Andrew, who holds the title of Duke of York, will miss the Christmas celebration in Sandringham, where all the members of the royal family closest to Monarch Charles III were supposed to gather. This was reported by the BBC, according to UNN.
Details
It is noted that relatives asked Andrew to refuse to participate in the event because of “the excessive attention he may draw to himself.” This refers to the story of Chinese businessman Chris Yang, who was recognized by a British court as a spy.
The prince had been in close contact with Young for many years, although he assures us that he “never discussed sensitive issues with him.” Law enforcement officials believe that the spy's task was to gain the trust of a number of influential people in the United Kingdom, including His Majesty's brother.
This is not the first scandalous story for Prince Andrew: back in the mid-noughties, he was accused of having sexual relations with minors, and in 2021, an American woman filed a lawsuit against him on charges of sexual abuse. The case was settled out of court, but Andrew lost all his military titles and ceased to serve as a member of the royal family.
Recall
As UNN previously reported , Prince Andrew may not attend the traditional Christmas walk because of the scandal with the Chinese spy H6. King Charles is outraged that his brother has dragged the monarchy into a high-profile scandal again.
King Charles III of Great Britain refused to pay an annual allowance of 1 million pounds to his brother Prince Andrew. The reason was the Duke of York's refusal to move out of the luxurious Royal Lodge residence.
