The Verkhovna Rada has adopted a draft law that simplifies access to innovative drugs and medical technologies, as well as provides the possibility of purchasing medicines under managed access contracts. This is reported by UNN with reference to MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak and the press service of the Ministry of Health.
"No. 9428-amendments to the law of Ukraine "on public procurement" concerning managed access contracts. In general-299, " - said Zheleznyak.
MOH points out that the adoption of the government bill is an important step towards unblocking the further implementation and conclusion of Managed Access agreements that allow the state to purchase expensive original innovative medicines on more favorable terms and provide them to patients with rare diseases.
The law sets requirements for information about medicines published in the electronic procurement system. It must contain:
international nonproprietary name (if any)
trade name
release form and dosage of the drug;
term of the Managed Access Agreement;
