Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the Kyiv RMA, took part in a meeting chaired by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the security situation and state border protection. Kravchenko spoke about the ongoing work on the arrangement of fortifications and lines of non-explosive barriers in the region, UNN reports.
He informed about the ongoing work in the Kyiv region on the arrangement of military engineering fortifications and lines of non-explosive barriers. All the work is being carried out exclusively in accordance with the task set by the military and under their strict supervision. We equip platoon strongholds, anti-tank ditches, low-visibility obstacles, defensive structures, etc. - a full range of everything needed to build strong borders and protect our people from the enemy,"
The RMA chairman also spoke about a package of anti-corruption measures introduced in Kyiv region. "The quality of construction and efficient use of funds is what I demand from every contractor. Control is constant and strict," emphasized the Head of the CRMA.
Kravchenko reminded that Kyiv region has engaged experts from Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise to examine the estimated part of construction projects and technical supervision of all construction works. In addition, experts from Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise and the Bokarius Institute of Forensic Expertise conduct a parallel construction and technical expertise of the work performed. The final payment is made only based on the results of this examination.
