The Prosecutor's Office has launched a pre-trial investigation into the shooting of four Ukrainian Armed Forces prisoners of war in Donetsk region. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, according to UNN.
According to preliminary data, on December 22, 2024, the Telegram channel published information about an incident in the Vremivsk direction in the Volnovakha district. It is noted that two prisoners of war were left lying on the ground, and the other two were taken to the road. Subsequently, all four Ukrainian servicemen were cynically shot by the occupiers in flagrant violation of the Geneva Conventions.
Investigative actions are currently underway to establish all the circumstances of the crime.
