An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 occurred off the coast of Peru, the country's Geophysical Institute reported, UNN reports.

The aftershocks were recorded at 14.33 local time, 74 kilometers south of the Lomas district, located in the Caravel province of the Arequipa region. The epicenter was located at a depth of 32 km.
