Law enforcement officers in Sarny district, Rivne region, exposed amber diggers during illegal mining. An all-terrain vehicle, a motorized pump and raw amber stones were seized from the scene. This was reported by the police of the Rivne region, according to UNN.

Two more residents of the village of Perebrody near the forest were exposed at about 06:30 today, March 18, by operatives of the Police Department No. 2 (Dubrovytsia) of the Sarny District Police Department together with the SBU Office in the region. The law enforcement officers seized an all-terrain vehicle with a motor pump on its trailer, 10 canisters of fuel and raw amber stones.
Police officers in Rokytne and Dubrovychchyna documented the facts of solar stone mining: pre-trial investigations under Part 1 of Article 240-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine are underway.

Last December, in Rivne region, during 17 searches related to illegal amber mining and trade, law enforcement officers seized more than 100 kg of amber and related equipment for its extraction.
