The official structures of the Russian Federation put forward a version that the cause of the plane crash over Aktau (Kazakhstan) was the explosion of a gas cylinder. This position surprised the Azerbaijani authorities, as the condition of the airplane's fuselage completely crossed out this version. This was stated by President Ilham Aliyev in an interview with Azerbaijani TV, reports UNN.
The fact that the fuselage (of the airplane that crashed - ed.) was covered with holes, completely removed from the agenda the version of collision with a flock of birds.
Aliyev noted with regret that some circles in Russia preferred to stick to this version: "One of the things that upset and surprised us was that Russian official structures put forward a version of some gas cylinder explosion. That is, it openly showed that the Russian side wanted to hush up the issue, and this, of course, does no one any honor.
Emphasizing that, of course, the plane was not shot down on purpose, the President of Azerbaijan said that admitting one's guilt, apologizing in a timely manner to a country considered friendly and bringing this to public attention were all measures and steps that had to be taken. He regretted that in the first three days they had heard nothing but delusional versions from rf.

An AZAL Airlines airplane, traveling from Baku to Grozny, crashed near Aktau airport. After the control systems failed, the crew made an emergency landing, as a result of which the front part of the airplane collapsed.
