Hauser became known for his role as the pimp-psychopath Ramrod in the film "Vice Squad" (1982). His filmography also includes such film projects as "The A-Team", "Beverly Hills 90210", "Cool Walker", "Doctor House".
Hauser was born on December 12, 1947, in a family with artistic traditions. Father - Dwight Hauser, actor and screenwriter. His mother, Geraldine Hauser, is the daughter of Tom Tines, who wrote a collection of poems Whimseys in the 1920s.
In 1967, at the age of 18, Wings Hauser made his film debut with a small role in a war film. In the 1980s, he gained fame and recognition thanks to the thriller "Vice Squad."
In the following decades, he appeared in many successful television series such as "Magnum", "She Wrote Murder", "C.S.I.: Crime Scene Investigation" and "Castle".
