Russia struck Ukraine with 123 drones overnight; 95 of them were shot down or suppressed, but hits were recorded in 16 locations, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Tuesday, UNN writes.

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of April 28 (from 18:00 on April 27), the enemy attacked with 123 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as other types of drones from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Shatalovo, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Gvardiyske (temporarily occupied Crimea); about 80 of them were "Shaheds."
The aerial attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare (EW) units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 95 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as other drones in the north, south, and east of the country. Hits by 19 strike UAVs were recorded at 16 locations, and the fall of downed drones (debris) was recorded at 4 locations,
The attack is ongoing; enemy UAVs remain in the airspace.
