All Ukrainian Defense Forces shoot down 90% of Russian troops' drones. Attacks on Ukraine are increasing not only with strike UAVs, but also with drone-imitators. "Tactics are constantly changing in accordance with the tasks set by the enemy, in accordance with weather conditions and in accordance with when the enemy begins to use new, modernized UAVs," said Ignat.
He noted that the Russians' "shaheds" have evolved.
"They put different explosives, different guidance systems are used, so the Defense Forces need to take all this into account. This is taken into account at command posts, the Air Force Command is constantly working with partners to improve these results. 90% of drones are shot down today by all the Defense Forces," Ignat said.
He noted that it is all the Defense Forces, not just the Air Force.
"We always note that all the Defense Forces today have their own air defense, according to their level. Yes, it is not long-range, but all together they ensure this result every night," Ignat added.
In addition, Ignat said that attacks are increasing not only with strike UAVs, but also with drone-imitators, which the Air Force calls "locationally lost".
"The enemy is increasing their use, and this greatly affects the population. You see the geography of the use of these drones all the way to the western borders. The vast majority of UAVs are shot down, but even downed drones that fall also lead to consequences on the ground," Ignat said.
Addition
Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russia launched 99 drones at Ukraine at night, 57 drones were shot down. 36 enemy drone-imitators, as indicated, are locationally lost (without negative consequences).
