A 25-year-old Spanish climber, who had been missing for nearly a week, was found dead on Mount Olympus in Greece. This was reported by Euronews, according to UNN.

According to media reports, the deceased is Francisco de Paula from the Spanish city of Jaén. He had been sought since May 20 after his father contacted the police because he was unable to reach his son. The search and rescue operation took place under difficult weather conditions and was suspended several times.
It is known that on May 19, the climber set out alone from a refuge to summit Mount Olympus, which stands at 2,918 meters. Subsequently, communication with him was lost.
