Russia launched 171 drones at Ukraine overnight, 154 of which were neutralized, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Wednesday, UNN writes.

According to the AFU Air Force, on the night of April 29 (from 18:00 on April 28), the enemy attacked with 171 strike UAVs of the Shahed type (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, Italmas, and drones of other types from the directions of: Kursk, Shatalovo, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, occupied Donetsk, Gvardiyske, Chauda – occupied Crimea; about 120 of them were "Shaheds."
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 154 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types, and drones of other types in the north, south, and east of the country. Hits by 12 strike UAVs were recorded at 10 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (debris) at 12 locations,
The attack is ongoing; several enemy UAVs remain in the airspace.
