Yesterday, the enemy launched 94 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, including 162 guided bombs. In addition, he carried out more than 6,300 shellings, 96 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,868 kamikaze drones for destruction.
"Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 11 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, an air defense system and two guns of the Russian invaders," the statement reads.
Situation by directions
In the Kharkiv direction, over the past day, our troops repelled five enemy attacks in the areas of Vovchansk, Hlyboke, Kamyanka, and Figolivka.
In the Kupyansk direction, two attacks by the occupiers took place over the past day. The Defense Forces repelled the enemy's assault operations near Zahryzove and Nova Kruglyakivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 27 times. He tried to advance near the settlements of Nadiya, Katerynivka, Myrne, Serhiivka, Nove, Kolodyazi, Yampolivka and in the directions of Zelena Dolyna, Hrekivka and Novomykhailivka.
In the Siversky direction, the aggressor carried out 10 attacks on the positions of our units in the areas of Bilohorivka, Hryhorivka and Verkhnyokamyanske - all attacks were repelled.
Two combat clashes were recorded in the Kramatorsk direction in the area of Chasovoy Yar.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 20 attacks near Toretsk, Druzhba, Dachne, Leonidivka and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 40 offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Kalynove, Shevchenko, Troitske, Preobrazhenka, Uspenivka, Novoleksandrivka, Udachne, Vodyane Druhe, Zelene Pole, Yelyzavetivka, Andriivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Kotlyarivka and Bohdanivka.
In the Novopavlivsky direction, the Defense Forces repelled six attacks on the positions of our troops towards Bahatyr and near Kostyantynopol and Rozlyv.
In the Hulyaipilsky direction, over the past day, the enemy made five unsuccessful attempts to advance in the area of Novoselka and in the direction of Shevchenko.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders successfully repelled nine enemy attacks in the areas of Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky, Lobkove and Shcherbaky.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Prydniprovsky direction.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polisky directions.
"In the operational zone in the Kursk region, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled 19 attacks by Russian invaders over the past day. In addition, the enemy launched 46 air strikes using 82 guided bombs, and also carried out 410 artillery shellings of our troops' positions and settlements, including eight from multiple launch rocket systems," the statement said.
