President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine has launched the Crimean operation amid efforts to slow down the militarization of the peninsula, and currently we have blocked logistics and taken control of the fuel and energy complex, reports UNN.
Some time ago we started the Crimean operation. This is a diplomatic strike, a middle strike. We slowed down the militarization of our peninsula occupied by russia. Military bases, warehouses, air defense, all platforms from which planes take off, from where we receive missile strikes, and logistics. We blocked logistics and took control of the fuel and energy complex. We showed what it means to operationally control the sky at a specific point, at a specific time
The President noted: "We moved into Crimea after Novorossiysk, after many of our various corresponding strikes on the energy sector of the russian federation itself, on port infrastructure, where they earn money from energy, then spend it on military bases and their military production."
"Russian business began to understand that they will not win the war. And they are losing both time and money, and, frankly, they will lose hope, because many of them had hope to capture us," Zelenskyy stated.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine are methodically striking energy facilities in occupied Crimea. After the attack on the night of July 6, according to local public reports, the entire peninsula was left without electricity, and in some areas communication also disappeared.
It should be added that during June, Ukrainian military, using middle-strike Ukrainian-made UAVs, already struck key Crimean bridges near Chongar and Armyansk. The strikes were carried out using FP-2 drones, manufactured by Fire Point, and "Behemoth". The bridge connecting the Kherson region with Crimea in Chongar was hit twice – on the night of June 6-7, and also on the night of June 9.
In addition, on June 8, the bridge leading from Henichesk to the Arabat Spit came under attack. Two more bridges across the North Crimean Canal – in the area of the settlements of Preobrazhenka and Myrne near Armyansk – were attacked on June 11.
In addition, on the night of June 13, the "Dzhankoi" checkpoint, a railway bridge, and a pontoon crossing were struck.
On the night of June 22, the railway bridge across the North Crimean Canal was destroyed.
The series of strikes on bridges and logistics routes connecting the temporarily occupied Crimea with the mainland part of Ukraine became another stage of the Ukrainian strategy of isolating the Russian group in the south.
