In particular, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the leaders of Germany, Ireland, Moldova, Norway, Iceland, as well as the Deputy Secretary General of NATO and the President of the European Council congratulated Ukraine and the Ukrainian people on Independence Day.

Happy Independence Day to your country. This day stands for sovereignty, freedom and democracy, shared values that you defend with exceptional courage and determination. In your brave struggle against Russia's brutal aggression, we will continue to support you for as long as it takes. We will not stop until you have secured a just and lasting peace. We are proud to call you our friends today and in our common European future. Glory to Ukraine!

- Scholz said.

As President of the European Council Charles Michel emphasized, "Today is your Independence Day, and the EU is on your side more than ever. Because in the EU, we all know that you are fighting bravely for your future. You are fighting for your land and for your children. But we also know that you are fighting for our common future, and we know that your future is in the EU."

Also, Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, Federal Chancellor of Austria Carl Negammer, President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili, Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Luc Frieden, President of Switzerland Viola Amgerd, President of the Republic of Estonia Alar Karis and Prime Minister of the Netherlands Dick Schoof sent their congratulations on Ukraine's Independence Day.

Canada has the largest Ukrainian diaspora in the world. Our communities are much better because of the Ukrainians who live here. They have all contributed to making it what it is. Just as Ukrainians helped to build Canada, we are here to build Ukraine. I wish you all a very happy Independence Day

- Justin Trudeau said.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko also congratulated Ukraine. He wished "a peaceful sky."

"The Belarusian land has always treated the cordial and hardworking people of Ukraine with special respect and warmth. For a long time, our nations have found strength in unity, shared joy and sorrow, shelter and bread, overcame adversity together and were proud of their successes. We are united not only by our common destiny and family ties, but also by our desire to be friends and get along with our neighbors," the greeting reads.
