Mats Hummels, the 2014 World Cup champion and Roma defender, has announced his retirement after this season. The 36-year-old emotionally shared the news on social media.

The German defender, who currently plays for the Serie A football club "Roma", has published a post on social networks where he announced his intention to end his career at the end of this season.
