A woman who killed a birthday boy at a birthday party will be tried in Kyiv, the Kyiv Main Police Department reported, UNN reports.

The incident occurred in September last year. A citizen with a stab wound died on the street in the Obolon district during resuscitation.
At the scene, law enforcement officers found out that during the birthday celebration, a quarrel broke out between the man and his guest. "During the conflict, a 56-year-old local woman stabbed the 66-year-old birthday boy in the neck with a knife and then fled. The victim died at the scene from the wound," the police said.
The suspect was identified. The woman was detained and served a notice of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - premeditated murder.
"The pre-trial investigation has now been completed, and the indictment has been sent to the court for consideration of the case on the merits. The defendant is in custody and faces up to fifteen years in prison," the police said.
