MHP is actively investing in agriculture. For example, in September 2023, MHP opened a new elevator in Lviv region with a capacity of 1.7 thousand tons per day. What other projects the company has implemented over the past two and a half years and what convinced MHP's top management of the safety of such investments during the war, said Sergiy Dobrohorsky, Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Agribusiness of MHP, reports UNN.

When the great war broke out, MHP's owner and top management remained in the country, close to their people, he recalls.
"This decision was clear and obvious. We have been working and will continue to work in Ukraine. Therefore, the question of whether to invest in our country did not even arise. We have invested and continue to invest.
Speaking of agribusiness, in two and a half years, in addition to the project you mentioned, we have invested in the modernization of five more of our elevators in Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Khmelnytsky, Ternopil, and even Sumy regions.
And we are talking about just one of our areas. For example, in November 2022, we completed the construction of a sunflower processing plant and increased our capacity by 1 thousand tons per day," said Dobrohorskyi.
He added that the total capacity of all three MHP plants is about 4 thousand tons per day. That is, it has increased by a quarter.
