European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said she had a phone conversation with Ukraine's new Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky and promised support, with the sides discussing reforms on the path to the EU, the Drone Deal, and winter preparations, UNN reports.

"A very good phone conversation with Serhiy Koretsky. We will continue close cooperation on reforms that advance Ukraine's EU accession process," von der Leyen wrote on Monday on X.
She also added that "our Drone Deal will allow us to use the EU's industrial potential for the rapid and large-scale production of Ukraine's most innovative defense equipment."
"We also discussed winter preparations and critically important energy infrastructure," the European Commission President said.
"You can count on our full support, including in your work to improve energy sector governance," von der Leyen emphasized.
