BTS pop group member V said that he has been experiencing hearing problems in his right ear for about two and a half years. He is currently undergoing treatment. The BBC reports, according to UNN.
V, a member of the pop group BTS, says that he has been receiving treatment for hearing loss in one ear, with the announcement coming midway through the group's long-awaited world tour
The 30-year-old South Korean musician V spoke about the condition of his hearing during a livestream. He noted that this was the first time he had told the group's fans about the problem.
"If the hearing in my left ear is 100, then in my right ear it is only about 30," said V, whose real name is Kim Tae-hyung.
According to the BTS pop group member, his hearing loss began during his military service; however, at first he did not consider the problem serious and regarded it as a "matter of mental strength."
V also said that he is currently taking medication and regularly visiting the hospital.
