The International list of cultural property under enhanced protection includes monuments located in Odesa, Chernihiv, Lviv, and Zakarpattia regions.

December 14, The UNESCO Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage in the Event of Armed Conflict approved the decision to inscribe five more cultural heritage sites of Ukraine on the the International List of Cultural Property under Temporary under temporary enhanced protection.
According to the the press service of the ICIP, these are cultural heritage sites that are located in Odesa, Chernihiv, Lviv and Zakarpattia regions, namely:
Wooden churches of the Carpathian region. Church of the Archangel Michael, Uzhok, Zakarpattia region;
Wooden churches of the Carpathian region of the Carpathian region. Wooden Church of St. George, Drohobych, Lviv region;
Building of the Odesa National Academic Opera House. National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater;
Building of the Odesa Regional Regional Philharmonic named after David Oistrakh;
Transfiguration Cathedral in Chernihiv. Transfiguration Cathedral of Chernihiv.

Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Policy Anastasia Bondar, Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Policy, noted significant losses among cultural heritage sites and cultural infrastructure as a result of of Russian aggression. According to Bondar, the expansion of the list of objects under enhanced protection is precisely because of Russian aggression.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has launched more than 10,000 missiles and drones into Ukraine. As a result, more than 1,700 cultural infrastructure facilities and more than 870 cultural heritage sites have been damaged or destroyed in the country. I believe that together with the UNESCO community, we will create a strong circle of support, where cultural heritage unites us more strongly than any force trying to divide us
