Ukraine has issued a new postage stamp for Christmas, Ukrposhta reported, UNN writes.

The stamp "New Joy Became" is the final postal issue of the year.
"This issue, inspired by the most famous Ukrainian carol, combines the traditional art of vytynanka with a modern reinterpretation of Christmas," Ukrposhta said.
"For the second year in a row, we continue a new Christmas tradition with Metropolitan Epifaniy - launching Ukrposhta Christmas stamps on Christmas Eve. Last year, the Christmas stamp was redeemed in the Assumption Cathedral, and this year - in St. Michael's Golden-Domed Cathedral. And there are already plans for the next one. In '23, the stamp traveled with me to the Donetsk region to support those who could not be with their families during the holidays. I have plans to do the same this year, because I know that such things warm you up," Ukrposhta CEO Igor Smelyansky said on social media.
The Christmas issue of "New Joy has Become" reportedly reproduces an artwork by Honored Artist of Ukraine Natalia Aksenenko. Her composition "Koliada" conveys the versatility of Ukrainian Christmas: girls sing carols, magi bring gifts to the God's Child, and costumed people "drive the Goat" wishing the owners a bountiful harvest. A special place in the composition is occupied by Ukrainian soldiers who defend our freedom, traditions and fight for peace even in the most difficult times.
The "New Joy Became" stamp block contains five stamps: "Carolers," "Magi," "Nativity of Christ," "Christmas Nativity Scene," and "Ukrainian Warriors." The total circulation of the stamp block is 60,000.
