Natalia Mukhina, head of Ukrposhta's philatelic products department, explained that the stamps depicting Iryna Farion are not official issues of the company. According to Mukhina, these stamps were produced as part of the commercial project "Own Mark" at the request of private individuals who had the appropriate permits.
Ukrposhta did not issue official postage stamps dedicated to Iryna Farion. Ukrposhta printed personalized postage stamps with the image of Iryna Farion as part of the commercial project "Own Mark" at the request of persons who had the necessary permits.
Mukhina emphasized that Ukrposhta has not issued any official postage stamps dedicated to Iryna Farion and has no plans to do so. The reason is that during the war, the company suspended the issuance of stamps dedicated to personalities. In addition, according to the rules, stamps can be issued to individuals only on anniversaries, and not earlier than 10 years after their death, to objectively assess the person's contribution. The final decision on the issue of stamps is made by the Editorial and Artistic Council.
