Payments of targeted support for pensioners and recipients of social assistance in the amount of UAH 1,500 have begun in Ukraine, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced on social networks on Wednesday, writes UNN.
Starting today, April 1, payments of UAH 1,500 will begin as part of the targeted support program for pensioners and vulnerable categories.
According to her, this support will be received by pensioners by age, people with disabilities, low-income families, recipients of basic social assistance, internally displaced persons among recipients of social benefits, large families, and single mothers.
"If a person belongs to several categories of recipients at the same time, the payment will be made once," she explained.
As the Prime Minister noted, "the funds will be credited once during April to bank accounts or through Ukrposhta." "No additional applications or appeals are required," she added.
The program, according to her, "is designed to support those who, given their income level, feel the impact of rising global fuel prices." "And this affects the cost of vital products and services," Svyrydenko pointed out.
