The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, together with the State Tax Service of Ukraine, is expanding access for Ukrainian citizens abroad to the service of registering an individual in the State Register of Individuals — Taxpayers with the issuance of a taxpayer card in electronic form (RNOCPP), reports UNN with reference to the MFA.
Details
The MFA reminded that earlier this year, a pilot branch of the service was introduced — the issuance of RNOCPP for children under 18 years of age upon the application of one parent, submitted through the electronic cabinet of the "e-Consul" system or through the embassy or consulate of Ukraine.
Starting July 30, the opportunity to use the service became available to any Ukrainian citizen who is abroad and has a valid identity document.
The application for the service can be submitted:
• by Ukrainian citizens aged 14 and older. To submit an application, you must personally contact the nearest embassy or consular office of Ukraine;
• through a representative acting on the basis of a notarized power of attorney or a relevant document confirming the authority of the legal representative of the person (guardians, trustees, foster parents, parent-educators of family-type children's homes, patronage educators, heads of relevant institutional facilities, etc.). The application can be submitted either online through your own electronic cabinet in the "e-Consul" system, or to the embassy or consulate.
The diplomatic department emphasized that submitting an application independently through your own electronic cabinet in the "e-Consul" system is free of charge; if the application is submitted through the embassy or consular office of Ukraine, a consular fee for automated data processing is charged ($40 USD / €37 EUR).
We continue to work on digitalization and simplifying access to public services for Ukrainian citizens abroad. Each such reform is about the state's respect for its citizens. And when there is a feeling of respect, there is motivation to maintain ties with Ukraine and the unity of our people on native soil and on all continents
Reminder
As previously reported by UNN, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is working on the possibility of issuing identification codes to Ukrainians abroad directly at diplomatic missions.
