Ukrainian gymnasts won three medals in one day of competition at the European Championships: Ilya Kovtun won gold in the parallel bars and uneven bars, and Nazar Chepurny won bronze in the vault, the NOC of Ukraine reported, UNN writes.

The Continental Gymnastics Championships continue in Rimini, Italy. On April 27, , the third day of competition, the men competed in three finals - in the vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar. Ukrainian representation was at each of these events.
Ilya Kovtun was unrivaled in the parallel bars. He received a high score of 15.633 points for his performance. This is the third year in a row that Ilya has climbed to the podium of the European Championships on this apparatus: now he has defended his European title.
After the parallel bars, Ilya competed in the high bar, where he again triumphed. With 14.600 points, the Ukrainian gymnast climbed to the top step of the podium for the second time in a row at the 2024 European Championships. Lithuanian Robert Tvorogal was second (14.566), and Cypriot Marios Georgiou was third (14.366).
Nazar Chepurny won bronze in the vault. In total, the Ukrainian received 14.749 points. "Jake Jerman of Great Britain won gold (14.883) and Arthur Davtyan of Armenia took silver (14.850).
Currently, Ukrainian gymnasts have won 5 awards: two gold, two silver (one of them by a junior) and one bronze.
