On the night of August 7, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully destroyed an enemy ballistic missile in the sky over Sumy region. This was reported by the Sumy RMA, according to UNN.

It is noted that thanks to the professional actions of the Ukrainian military, the threat to the civilian population and infrastructure of the region was neutralized.
"On the night of August 7, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed an enemy ballistic missile in the sky over Sumy region. We are grateful to our defenders!" the statement reads.
