The statement of a deputy of the Zaporizhzhya regional council that as a result of the assault, Russians entered the village of Robotyno and actually established themselves there is not true. This is stated in the statement of the 65th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN reports.
"In the area of responsibility of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade, which defends the village of Rabotyne, there are indeed regular clashes with enemy subversive reconnaissance groups that enter the village and try to gain a foothold there. But the occupiers are not successful.
Our units repelled the enemy's attacks with artillery on the outskirts of Robotyno, and scattered groups of occupants were finished off by the soldiers of the 65th Brigade and adjacent units with attack drones, mortar crews and counter-sabotage measures," the statement reads.
The 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade emphasized that today the settlement is held by the Ukrainian Defense Forces, which means that the enemy does not control it.
"We ask all citizens, including media representatives, not to create unnecessary hype and not to rely on the pseudo-expert opinions of those who are not directly involved in real combat work and do not know the operational situation! In the pursuit of artificial sensation, such statements by incompetents can significantly harm a combat operation, and subsequently, human lives. Trust only official reliable sources and messages from authorized representatives of the Ukrainian Defense Forces," summarized the 65th Brigade.
