In the two years since the beginning of russia's full-scale invasion, Ukraine has already restored 513 medical facilities that were destroyed by the occupying forces. This was stated by the Ministry of Health, UNN reports.

The agency said that as a result of hostile shelling and attacks, 1,581 medical facilities were damaged and another 210 were completely destroyed and cannot be restored. The largest losses were incurred in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Dnipro, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
In addition, it is currently impossible to obtain information on the degree of destruction of hospitals in the temporarily occupied territories.
Also, since the beginning of the war, russia has damaged 161 ambulances, destroyed 260 and captured 125 ambulances.
However, despite the constant bombardment and attacks by russia, 513 medical facilities have already been fully restored, and another 357 have been partially restored or are in the process of being restored. In particular, these are medical facilities in the de-occupied territories, as well as those that have suffered minor damage, such as broken windows, roofing, facade damage, etc. Most of the restored medical facilities are located in Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Kyiv, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions

The Ministry of Health emphasizes that one of the state's priorities today is to rebuild hospitals to ensure that every Ukrainian patient who needs it receives medical care.
