According to Kovalenko, posting information about military facilities, even if it is a year-old image, can have negative consequences for national security.
Kovalenko emphasized that open access to strategic military facilities in any format poses threats, as this information can fall into the hands of interested parties who will abuse it. Google representatives have previously expressed their readiness to blur such objects on maps in the future, which Kovalenko called an important step in the right direction.
