The national team of Ukraine crushed the national team of Hungary (5:1) in the semi-finals of the European Championship 2026 and reached the Euro final for the first time in history, UNN reports.

Ukraine opened the scoring in the 22nd minute of the match: Denys Blank delivered a cross into the penalty area, where Vadym Ivanov accurately headed the ball into the net - 1:0.
Just a minute later, Blank took advantage of a mistake by the Hungarian goalkeeper to double the lead - 2:0.
In the 33rd minute, after a scramble in the penalty area, Tibor Kesz pulled one back for his team - 2:1.
Two minutes later, Ivanov scored his second of the match following a counterattack - 3:1.
In the 41st minute, Oleksandr Kolesnykov played brilliantly on the rebound after Blank's shot, sending the ball into the corner left uncovered by the goalkeeper - 4:1.
The final touch of the match was provided by Dmytro Sorokin, assisted by Serhiy Lapa - 5:1, and Ukraine advances to the Euro 2026 final, where they will face the winner of the Azerbaijan vs Serbia match.
