The President signed a decree on sanctions against manufacturers of equipment for the Russian military-industrial complex. The restrictions affected companies that produce missiles, drones, and air defense systems.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree enacting the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine on the application of sanctions against entities working for the Russian military-industrial complex, UNN reports, citing the Presidential Office.

Details

As reported by the Presidential Office, the sanctions target 23 companies and 20 associated individuals who produce and supply equipment and components for the Russian military-industrial complex and security forces, circumventing sanctions.

Among them is the company "Kidma Tek," which manufactures optical devices, air defense systems, and multiple launch rocket systems, repairs aviation and anti-tank guided missiles, and the Morozov Plant, which is part of the sanctioned "Rostec" structure. There, they produce explosives, rocket fuel, and materials for missile systems, in particular, supplying solid-fuel charges for the engine of the "Iskander-M" ballistic missile. Also included are "Spetselektronkomplekt," which is involved in the production of guided aircraft missiles, and the enterprise "Aurum," which supplies electronic warfare systems and drones for Russian occupiers.

Also on the list are Russian IT enterprises that create digital solutions and information security programs for state and private customers.

"We continue systematic work on imposing sanctions against weapons manufacturers, including ballistic missiles, and other companies that support the activities of the Russian military-industrial complex. Every enterprise that loses access to components, technologies, or funding will produce fewer ballistic missiles, drones, and other weapons for the war. The more states join such restrictions, the weaker Russia's capabilities to strike Ukraine will be," emphasized Advisor and Presidential Commissioner for Sanctions Policy Vladyslav Vlasiuk.
