The Emily Event Hall hosted the grand LVIV CHAMPIONS evening, dedicated to the historic achievements of the "Rukh" Academy students in the 2025/26 season, founded by Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy. Following a tense and successful football year, three teams from the club's Academy (U-16, U-15, and U-14) won championship titles in the NLM Pro League, while the "Rukh" U-17 team secured bronze medals. The awards ceremony for the winners became a true celebration, with the main focus placed on raising a new generation of Ukrainians.
Prominent guests and leaders of the city and region joined in honoring the young footballers. In particular, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi personally presented awards to the "Rukh" U-15 team, which, under the leadership of Borys Baranets, had a fantastic season and secured the Pro League gold medals ahead of schedule. Maksym Kozytskyy, Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, and Volodymyr Matkivskyy, President of FC Karpaty, also participated in honoring the champions.
The main triumph of the evening was the moment when the founder of the Academy and FC Rukh, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, together with the President of FC Karpaty, Volodymyr Matkivskyy, presented the well-deserved gold awards to the Pro League debutants – the "Rukh" U-14 team led by Andriy Dankiv.
The incredible success of the youth gave the club structure another significant award – the trophy for the winners of the overall team standings in the NLM Pro League. The main original cup in the hands of Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy symbolized the total dominance of the "Rukh" players in the country's youth football.
During the festivities, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy noted that this success is the result of the systematic work of a large team and the foundation laid for the future of Ukrainian sports.
"We built this Academy not just for the sake of cups and medals, but to create an environment where strong personalities, smart children, and worthy Ukrainians grow. Today's victories of our students at the national level prove that we are moving in the right direction. This success is only the beginning of a great journey, and we will not stop at what has been achieved, because our goal is to bring Ukrainian football to the level of top European clubs," emphasized the founder of the "Yellow-Blacks."
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy's ambitions for the Academy and FC Rukh indeed go far beyond current victories. New challenges lie ahead for the structure, including reclaiming the championship title in the National U-19 League, further developing talented youth, and elevating football in the Lviv region. Furthermore, very soon, the Academy students will receive a new modern home in Vynnyky, which will allow the training process to be taken to an even higher level.
Hryhoriy Petrovych Kozlovskyy is a well-known Ukrainian businessman, philanthropist, and founder of the Rukh football club and the Academy of the same name in Lviv. He systematically invests his own resources into the development of youth football, the construction of modern sports infrastructure, and the professional training of a new generation of Ukrainian athletes.
In addition to the scale of his sporting activities, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy is one of the largest and most consistent benefactors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. His financial contributions and assistance in purchasing military equipment, vehicles, and drones for Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines have already exceeded the amount of 100 million hryvnias.
