Ukraine needs to attract 3.1 million people to stabilize the labor market after the war, according to an estimate by the Ministry of Economy, reported MP Olga Vasylevska-Smagliuk of the financial committee on social media on Wednesday, UNN writes.

"To achieve stabilization in the labor market, the government needs to achieve a population growth of 3.1 million people within 3-5 years after the war. Such data was voiced by Deputy Minister of Economy Oleksiy Sobolev," the MP reported after a meeting of the Council on Entrepreneurship Support.
According to her, First Vice Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko also stated that she "expects GDP growth this year at the level of 2%."
And Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, according to the MP, spoke about the prospects for the coming winter. "According to him, it will obviously be difficult, regardless of whether the war stops or not. 80% of energy capacity has been lost due to the invasion. We want to restore 21 gigawatts and create new generation to get through the next winter no worse than the previous one," Vasylevska-Smagliuk wrote.
