The US has submitted a document on economic partnership to Ukraine for consideration and does not rule out the possibility of signing an agreement as early as next week. This was stated by US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent in an interview with Fox News on March 26, writes UNN.
We have passed along a completed document for the economic partnership. It is currently being reviewed by the Ukrainians, and we hope to go to full discussions and perhaps even get signatures next week

As MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported on March 27, the document, dated March 23, sent by the American side, states that it concerns the extraction of all minerals on the entire territory of Ukraine - "that is, there is oil and gas", by both state and private companies, and 5 people will participate in the management of the agreement: 3 of them from the USA with full veto power.
The MP stressed that the document is not final.
Later, in Telegram, Zheleznyak explained that this has not been agreed and "there will be more negotiations and changes to the text, or rather there should be, and my sources confirm this." Assessing whether our side will agree to such an agreement, Zheleznyak noted that "I am 110% sure that it will definitely not be in this form." "They will demand to change the text. Well, there is also the ratification process," the MP pointed out.
Commenting on why the text changed compared to the first version, Zheleznyak noted that "that first text in February was a "memorandum of intent", and this is already a detailed agreement." Well, plus the quarrel in the Oval Office, the MP added.
At the same time, he noted that he does not think that the process of agreeing on the text of the new agreement will be quick.
The agreement was planned to be signed at the end of February during the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Washington. But against the background of the dispute during the meeting between the presidents in the Oval Office, the signing did not take place.
On March 25, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the United States had offered Ukraine a new version of the agreement on mineral resources, which would provide for ratification in the Verkhovna Rada.
