The Supreme Court upheld the sentence of the former deputy head of the Prosecutor General's Department, Dmytro Sus, to 7 years in prison, UNN reports with reference to the SAPO.

On April 18, 2024, the Criminal Court of Cassation of the Supreme Court ruled to uphold the decision of the HACCU Appeals Chamber of September 4, 2023, which sentenced Dmytro Sus, former Deputy Head of the Department - Head of the Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Economic Cases of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine, to 7 years in prison.
"The Supreme Court ... dismissed the defense's cassation appeals and confirmed the legality of the court of appeal's ruling. Thus, Sus was found guilty of committing crimes... and sentenced to 7 years in prison with disqualification to hold positions in courts, law enforcement agencies, and the bar for three years and confiscation of all property owned by him," the statement said.
The ruling of the Supreme Court is final and cannot be appealed.
