The Ministry of Agriculture of Turkey noted that the country is experiencing one of the strongest frosts since 2014, as the temperature in some regions has dropped below -15 degrees Celsius in the last three days.

The authors point out that the government is currently conducting an on-site assessment following the sharp cold snap, and affected farmers have been ordered to report the damage to local agricultural offices and insurance companies.
"The Minister of Agriculture said that Turkey will continue to support producers to ensure continuity of production and limit losses, but their full extent is still being assessed," the publication notes.
