279 combat engagements occurred on the front line over the past day, more than doubling compared to the previous day, with the hottest fighting in the Pokrovsk direction, where 87 clashes took place, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in its morning summary on January 30, showing a map of hostilities, writes UNN.
In total, 279 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
According to updated information, yesterday the invaders launched 41 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine, dropping 123 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they used 5583 kamikaze drones and carried out 3802 shellings of our troops' positions and settlements, including 144 from multiple rocket launcher systems.
The aggressor launched air strikes with guided bombs on settlements, including Havrylivka, Pokrovske in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast; Verkhnia Tersa, Barvinivka, Vozdvyzhivka, Kushuhum, Malokaterynivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
Over the past day, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit one area of personnel concentration, eight ground control stations for UAVs, and seven enemy command posts.
Situation by directions
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, our defenders repelled 11 attacks over the past day, the enemy carried out 75 shellings of our troops' positions and settlements, five of which were from multiple rocket launcher systems.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units 17 times in the areas of Vovchansk, Starytsia, Tykhe, and towards Fyholivka, Ternova, Grafske, Vovchanski Khutory, Hryhorivka, Kolodyazne.
In the Kupyansk direction, 12 attacks by the invaders took place yesterday. The Defense Forces repelled enemy assault actions in the area of Borivska Andriivka and towards Kupyansk, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Novoosinove.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 13 times, trying to advance in the areas of Drobycheve, Stepy, Hrekivka, Zarichne, and towards Druzhbivka, Stavky.
In the Sloviansk direction, our defenders repelled seven attempts by the occupiers to advance in the area of Yampil and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka, Zakitne.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 19 attacks in the areas of Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Rusyn Yar, and towards Novopavlivka, Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Berestok, Stepanivka, Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 87 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Toretsk, Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Myrnograd, Rivne, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, and towards Chervony Lyman, Kucheriv Yar, Vilne, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Hryshyne, Novopidhorodne, Muravka, Ivanivka, Filiia.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked our positions 23 times, in the area of Verbove and towards Ivanivka, Iskra, Oleksandrogorod, Oleksiivka, Danylivka, Novyi Zaporizhzhia, Lisne.
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy tried to advance 42 times on the positions of our defenders, in the area of Huliaipole and towards Dobropillia, Radisne, Varvarivka, Zelene, Pryluky, Zaliznychne, Olenokostiantynivka, Sviatopetrivka, Staroukrainka.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders repelled two attacks, towards Lukyanivske and Pavlivka.
Over the past day, the enemy made one unsuccessful attempt to attack in the Prydniprovsky direction.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the aggressor's offensive groups forming were detected.
