The Diia app will have an option to obtain and extend weapons permits. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Bohdan Drapyaty, according to UNN.

He reminded that since June 2023, the Unified Register of Weapons and the electronic office of the weapon owner have been in operation, which has greatly simplified the process of applying for or renewing permits.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted a survey among users of the e-cabinet, which showed that citizens want to see maps of shooting ranges and shooting ranges, weapons repair shops, and weapons stores in its functionality.
There is a high demand for further digitalization of services, and therefore this is our absolute priority throughout the entire system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Soon it will be possible to view information about weapons through Diia. Users will also be able to order a digital extract from the Unified Register of Weapons, which will help to control the validity of the permit in time.
