The Ministry of Defense believes that 60 days was enough time to update its military records, so the ministry is not initiating amendments to the legislation of Ukraine to extend the deadline for this update. This was stated by Mark Andrusiak, Director of the Department of Personnel Policy of the Ministry of Defense, UNN reports .

In our opinion, there was indeed enough time to update their military records, and the Ministry of Defense is not initiating amendments to the legislation of Ukraine to extend the deadline for this update,

- Andrusiak said.

However, on the same day, Defense Ministry spokesman Dmytro Lazutkin said that the Ministry of Defense sees no reason to extend the deadline for updating data for those liable for military service, as this can be easily done through the Reserve+ app.

At the end of May, the Verkhovna Rada registered a draft law to extend the deadline for updating data for persons liable for military service.

A member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, Fedir Venislavsky , statedthat there is no need to extend the deadline for updating personal military records.
