The High Anti-Corruption Court granted the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office lawsuit seeking recognition of the assets acquired in 2021–2023 by current Ukrainian MP Liudmyla Marchenko of the "Servant of the People" party as unjustified. This was reported by the SAPO press service, according to UNN.
Details
The total value of the assets exceeds UAH 8.2 million. They include:
- 5 apartments;
- property rights to an apartment;
- a "Toyota Land Cruiser" vehicle.
The lawsuit was based on the fact that, although ownership of this property was registered in the name of her father and her brother’s partner, it was actually acquired and used by the MP.
An analysis of the assets of the Ukrainian MP, her family members and relatives established that it was impossible to acquire these assets using lawful income. Having heard the parties’ arguments, the court agreed with the position of the SAPO prosecutor and granted the lawsuit in full
The court’s decision may be appealed within 30 days from the date of its announcement and the preparation of its full text.
Context
On July 5, 2023, the NABU suspected MP Liudmyla Marchenko and her aide of receiving a $5,300 bribe.
The MP promised a man to arrange a decision authorizing his departure from Ukraine by a local military administration body, through entering the data into the "Shlyakh" system.
On July 11, 2023, Ukrainian MP from the "Servant of the People" party Liudmyla Marchenko and her aide were served with a notice of suspicion.

In April 2026, a panel of judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court announced the verdict against Ukrainian MP Liudmyla Marchenko and her aide. They were found guilty of receiving $11,300 for facilitating the crossing of the state border.
