The Ukrainian production and engineering group of companies GROUND FORCE has handed over another batch of ATC NORD 1000 combat quad bikes to units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by Defense Express, writes UNN.
Details
As noted, the equipment is intended for performing combat and logistical tasks on the front line, including delivering ammunition, medical evacuation of the wounded, and transporting equipment in difficult terrain conditions.
According to Defense Express, the ATC NORD 1000 is a Ukrainian development that was designed from the start with the needs of the military in mind, rather than being adapted from civilian equipment.

The quad bike is equipped with a folding cargo platform compatible with standard army medical stretchers and the MOLLE (PALS) attachment system. This allows for the rapid transport of the wounded or the transportation of ammunition, equipment, or other cargo.
To improve cross-country capability and stability, engineers modernized the running gear: the vehicle was equipped with reinforced suspension arms, a widened track, steel rims, 10-layer tires, and Run-Flat inserts, which allow continued movement even after a wheel is damaged.
In addition, the quad bike received front and rear winches, underbody and key component protection, a cooling system moved under an armored casing, as well as standard mounting points for electronic warfare equipment. A "Night" light camouflage mode is also provided, which turns off external lighting for covert movement using night vision devices.
Defense Express notes that the ATC NORD 1000 became the first Ukrainian combat quad bike of this class, designed specifically for operation in modern warfare conditions.
