Medical forces are implementing the ePMK electronic card to record assistance from the battlefield to the hospital. The MedEvac system accelerates treatment according to NATO standards.

The Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are implementing the digital system MedEvac, designed to increase the effectiveness of providing assistance to the wounded at all stages of medical evacuation. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, writes UNN.

In particular, the paper "Form 100" – the primary medical card of a wounded serviceman, which records the circumstances of the injury, the time of tourniquet application, and the assistance provided – has been replaced by an electronic primary medical card (ePMC). It functions in the MedEvac application and allows recording information about injuries and assistance provided – from the battlefield to the hospital in accordance with NATO standards.

- the message says.

It is noted that the use of ePMC significantly simplifies the work of medical personnel. Data is entered promptly, and information about the condition of the wounded remains continuous at all stages of evacuation. This allows medical institutions to prepare in advance for specialized care even before the patient arrives.

"The introduction of modern protocols in combination with digital solutions allows reducing the time between injury and the start of treatment. In combat conditions, the speed of assistance is often crucial," the General Staff emphasized.
